The Saloon was packed with friends grooving to great blues music. Backed by Drake Levin on the guitar, Kevin White on bass, Freddie Roulette on lap guitar and Greg Gotelli on drums, Ron Hacker (who did a blow out version of "Back Door Man"), Lisa Kindred, Pat Wilder and Jimmy Mamou dropped by to lend their support. Curtis Lawson performed several numbers.

We saw some smokin' blues on this evening and it was a privilege and
a pleasure to witness and document it. We got to meet Curtis and his wife
Linda, Drake and his wife Sandra, Pat Wilder, and many of the other
musicians.



Curtis Lawson is still singing the blues in the San Francisco Bay area in 2011.
